All Conversations with Kiboko will be held at the District Office, 1193 Grand Ave, Marion

You are asked this year, to have your profile completed the beginning of the month you meet with Kiboko.

  • Conversation in September? Please submit no later than Monday, September 2.
  • Conversation in October? Please submit no later than Tuesday, October 1.

Your application is due in the East Central District Office before September 16, 2019.

August 24-25 - Bertram Homecoming Day Events - 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
The community of Bertram will host their 2019 Homecoming Day Saturday, August 24 in the Bertram City Park. A potluck lunch and family activities take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The weekend events will conclude with another tradition, Worship in the Park. Everyone is invited to take part in an open-air service and Bertram UM Church members in the park at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, August 25.

A Study of Numbers based on Bewilderments by Avivah Gottlieb Zornberg,
Beginning Fall 2019 for interested clergy
Dr. Mary Lautzenhiser Bellon, Director of the Office of Pastoral Care and Counseling would like to invite interested clergy in a deep study of the Book of Numbers beginning Fall 2019. The tentative schedule is for the first three sessions: September 23, October 28 and November 25. Then we will resume with a final, day long retreat on January 28th with a back up date for weather.
